My favorite movie

Imagen relacionada

Hi dear friends, have you ever seen a movie where Tom Hanks performs? Well, I think he is a great movie actor and I especially like his performance as Forrest Gump, in fact I consider it one of my favorite movies because I feel I can see it many times and I will never get bored.

Forrest Gump is a classic film, of comedy and drama, was directed by Robert Zemeckis, and its main context is in the Cold War where even Forrest is going to fight in Vietnam. The story represents several decades in the life of the main character, a slow witted man of Alabama, but good hearted, kind and athletic prodigious, which presence, and in some cases influences, some of the defining events of the second half of the twentieth century in the U.S.

I think the whole movie is very well made and all its scenes are incredible, but my favorite scene is when Forrest enters the army and meets Booba, a man of color, of comical aspect, and only he knew was to talk about shrimps.

The saddest scenes are when Booba dies in his arms, then the death of his mother and finally when the love of his life dies.
I recommend this movie because it is very entertaining, and there are scenes where these leave teachings

Well dear mates “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get”.

You haven't seen the movie yet?
Run dear friend, Run!!!

Postgraduate studies

Hi again dear friends! It is my seventh year studying Classical Guitar, and I have two years left to finish my undergraduate here at the Universidad of Chile. I feel very anxious to finish it, because inmediately I want to continue studying and perfecting myself as a guitar performer abroad.
The main reason to continue specializing me abroad, is for increase my knowledges and have better tools to get a great level as a professional musician, and also to make and improve my contact networks.

So, where would I like to go to study?
As I have already said in other blogs, I would like to study my postgraduate course in Europe. The only problem is that I need a scholarship and a sponsor or someone who wants to support me to live there. Because Europe is a very expensive place to live.

My second option is to study in the United States, their universities have scholarships that cover all expenses, but the focus is more oriented to investigation than playing the instrument. Anyway, you need to have a great level to apply, and this is what keeps me motivated to continue studying day by day.

But, an important point to make a postgraduate is that after, you can find easier a job to teach in an important institution outside of Chile, and you can earn good money or the enough to live well.

Ok, thanks a lot mates, and have a good week!

And I intend to  travel around the world showing my music and meet many people and countries and enjoy the life making this, maybe it sounds like a real dreamer, but I know I can do it.

Regarding salary... It is an important point  and at the same time something a bit difficult, and I would like to earn the necesary money to can live in a comfortable way.
But the most important aspect is have the enough knowledge to make a good music, and be a great musician, because of this way you can give the best of you to each person that wants to listen you.

The black lion

Imagen relacionada

Hello, this is the black lion, his real name is "Panthera leo melanochaitus" and is already an extinct species.lived in the herbaceous plains southwest of South Africa, the people responsible for his extinction were the English who hunted him for sport. The type specimen of the lion was described as very large with black-edged ears and a black mane extending beyond the shoulders and under the belly. It was a predator they ate mainly zebras and antelopes. The accounts abound in testimonies about great lions that came to try to scale the palisades of the European settlements. this lion is currently considered as one of the most beautiful animals that have existed.

I think it is very sad, because it would be great to have more record of this animal, it must be incredible to see one live. With this is evident the stupidity of the human who tries to have everything to his control destroying everything around him and in the most cowardly way. This species lived in peace in its territory and humans ended with their lives. The good news is that there are currently laws that protect the rights of animals. But these beautiful lions are already extinct.

I hope you have liked this beautiful and sad posting.

See you.

The rarest phobias.

Hi Everyone I would like to tell you that the other day I was walking around of Plaza de Armas of Santiago and repeatedly the pigeons were close to colliding with me and I was afraid to tocuch them. And I think it is a bit weird have this phobia, but  then I read about phobias and I felt Better because there are phobias more ridiculous and rarer that mine.
Let me tell you... Phobia is an anxiety disorder characterized by an irrational fear of a stimulus, but these phobias are very weird.

1- Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia: it means, irrational fear at number 666, Christian religious are prone to suffer from this phobia. Can you believe it? I think these people  have big mental problem.

2- Somniphobia: afraid to sleep, these people feel panic at the fact of sleeping, they feel unprotected and believe they can stop breathing or die. I think it is very terrible.

3- Hipopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia: Afraid to pronounce long words, this is also accompanied by shyness and fear of ridicule for not being able to pronounce long words. Does the person who has this phobia die when they see the name of their phobia?
(Haha).

Hope you enjoy this posting,
Bye!

The best concert I've had

Hello dear friends, I'd like to know something about you. Have you ever been in a classical recital? Did you like and enjoy the experience?
Well, I need to tell you my best experience I've had at a concert, because it was very special and an incredible moment for me.
It was seven years ago, the famous  croatian classical guitar player Zoran Dukic  visited Chile, and gave a recital, everybody were very expectant and anxious, but I have never heard his  music before and every time the hour approached my expectation increased, and when finally I saw him on stage and I heard him play, I relaxed, and every note he played made me feel in a very magical dream.
I've never gotten to feel the same feeling in another opportunity, and from time to time I try to remember what I have lived and felt that time, because it's always an inspiration to me.
But it was not all.. when the concert finished I went to his dressing room, and I could talk with him and he was a very humble and affectionate person, and I was shocked by his musical gift and his great sympathy at the same time.
I' d like someday to make others feel what he made me feel and  live.

I hope you enjoy this post!

A country I'd like to visit

Hi everyone, one of the things I’d like to do is  visit a new place far to Chile, actually any Europe Conuntry could be fine to me, but really I have two preferences, the reason is because I’d like to fulfill my dream to got an scolarship to study in Graz, Austria and the second option in Basel, Swistzerland, both seem be nice places to me, I think the landscapes and architecure in general are very beautiful.

I don’t know enough about these countries  but Graz is the capital of Styria and the second-largest city in Austria after Vienna. Graz has a long tradition as seat of universities and have more than 44.000 students, and won the first prize like the best Cultural Capital of Europe in 2003 and got the title of a City of Culinary Delights in 2008. And the most important is that in this place is the great professor and musician Paolo Pegoraro.
And, Basel is Located where the Swiss, French and German borders meet, and the official language of Basel is a variant of German dialect. Today the city of Basel, together with Zürich and Geneva, is counted among the cities with the highest standards of living in the entire world, and the best is that here is my second option to study (Haha), the great problem both countries are very expensive and I need to learn German!

Well, I’d like to fulfill this dream visiting these countries some day. I think if you want you can do it.
Thanks, see you!
